Celebrating Leap Day with Say It With Brownies
Today, we’re going to talk about a day that’s as special as our brownies – Leap Day!
What is Leap Day?
Leap Day, celebrated on the 29th of February, is a date that only comes around once every four years. This extra day is added to our calendars to keep them in alignment with the Earth’s revolutions around the Sun. It takes the Earth about 365.24 days to complete one full orbit around the Sun. Those extra .24 days might not seem like much, but over time, they add up. To account for this discrepancy, an extra day is added to the calendar every four years. This year is one of those special years!
Why Celebrate Leap Day with Brownies?
Leap Day is all about the extra. An extra day in the year, an extra 24 hours to do something special. So, why not celebrate it with something extra special too? Our brownies are more than just a dessert; they’re a celebration of life’s sweet moments. And what could be sweeter than an extra day to enjoy them?

Making the Most of Leap Day
Leap Day is a gift of 24 extra hours. Make the most of it by doing something you love. Spend time with loved ones, try a new hobby, or simply relax with a good book and a delicious brownie. After all, it’s an extra day to savour life’s sweetness.
So, this Leap Day, let’s celebrate the extra. The extra day, the extra moment, the extra brownie. Here’s to a day that’s as unique and special as each one of you. Happy Leap Day!
Remember, any day is a good day for a brownie, but Leap Day is an extra good day for an extra special brownie.
