Celebrating World Book Day

Today I’m jumping on the World Book Day bandwagon 📖

You might wonder what that’s got to do with brownies?

Most of the time while I’m baking or packing up brownies, I’ll be listening to an audio book through Audible. I absolutely love books and find that they’re even better when read to you by a talented actor.

My AirPod earphones are really light and easy to use with my phone, and I don’t disturb anyone with loud audio coming from the brownie kitchen!

I will read or listen to almost anything. My favourites are probably spy stories, by I tend to trawl through reviews for anything worth reading. Some recent favourites are The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro, The Bear Town series by Fredrick Backman, Shoe Dog by Phil Knight and anything at all by Taylor Jenkins Reid…. this list could go on and on!

So happy World Book Day. I’m now going off into another world for an hour or two while I pack up lots of Mother’s Day orders 😊
