Christmas over for another year!

I will admit to being very happy and relieved that Christmas is over for another year! December is a very busy time for Say It With Brownies, which is great. Don’t get me wrong… I’m not complaining. For the whole month I work like crazy, baking and wrapping up brownies. Then it all comes to a pretty abrupt halt at the last posting day, which was 20th December this year. After that I am able to make a few orders for Isle of Wight customers who are happy to collect, and just tidy up a few loose ends.

The Royal Mail post is back to normal after Boxing Day so I can send out a few orders on 27th and I’m also able to work for the last couple of days of the month. There seem to be a few birthdays and what could be easier than sending a delivery of my yummy brownies?

Every year we have elderly in-laws to stay for nearly a week over Christmas. This requires a lot of shopping and a lot of cooking. So absolutely no rest for me! Although Christmas dinner does make a change from working with chocolate.

I’m very much looking forward to January now and getting ‘back to normal’. And I bet I’m not the only one!
